Welcome to the The Centre School, Cottenham, Cambridgeshire. We are a SEMH special school providing education for 135 students with Education, Health and Care Plans from across the county. The school opened in January 2009 and is part of the Astrea Academy Trust. We operate a diverse and engaging curriculum that offers a balance of learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

Our approach at The Centre School

Sue Raven, Principal

Our curriculum aims to produce young people that are successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. Our goal is to ensure that every one of our students can access a life of choice and opportunity when their time at The Centre School comes to a close. To this end a diverse range of accreditation and qualifications are offered, alongside a comprehensive personal development curriculum. Progression, either within our own post-16 Vocational Programme, or with other providers, is a priority for the school.
