CEIAG (Careers education, information, advice and guidance) at The Centre School

At The Centre School, our core Personal Development themes – engagement, resilience, and positive relationships – are designed to support and challenge all students to achieve to achieve the best possible outcomes.  One of the most important outcomes for students is a pathway into the workplace and a happy and fulfilling career.

As such, we have a comprehensive Careers Plan which is designed to provide all students with the knowledge, understanding, skills and experience required to successfully graduate from The Centre School into a range of post-16 destinations and into the world of work.

Below you will find links to our current Careers Plan and the Careers Policy which underpins it.  You will also find a link to our Provider Access Legislation Policy Statement which describes our commitment to ensuring that all our students benefit from access to a range of post-16 providers.  You will also find a range of useful web links for parents in support of the research and discussions about work and careers that are taking place at home.

If you have any queries or feedback about Careers Education at The Centre School, you should contact Careers Leader Chris Cassidy (Vice-Principal) at chris.cassidy@astreacentreschool.org

In addition, we are ably supported by the Local Authority Additional Needs Pathways Team.  Our advisor is Richard Beckett specialises in supporting Year 11 & Sixth Form students to transition to the next stage of education and work.  Richard can be contacted at the following address Richard.Beckett@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
